I used to teach courses at New York University focused on advanced social and digital practices, and in every class we would do a quick review on the world of online media. Here are my five favorite blogs and websites where I feel like you receive the most bang for your time.<\/p>\n
What I Love: This blog is a treasure of great info, tips, and tools for everything related to social media. (For example, if you want to try running an ad on Facebook, check out their list of\u00a0blog posts on this topic<\/a>.) \u00a0According to their website, they have more than 90 writers who generate original content. I am never disappointed when I go to this blog. It\u2019s thought-provoking articles, chalked with fresh ideas, always leave me coming away with something new.<\/p>\n What I Love: This is a great blog by Faris Yakob<\/a>. It\u2019s not about social media per se, but a really great blog on everything related to brands and media–and how they interact. He is a great writer with fresh perspectives and his posts provoke audiences to think differently about topics discussed.<\/p>\n What I Love: John Jantsch<\/a> is a veteran when it comes to the world of social media. His blog is filled with good info, and you won\u2019t be disappointed on any visit! He offers an interesting twist on traditional social media perspectives and his posts are applicable to a broad range of readers and industries.<\/p>\n What I Love: Mashable<\/a> has been popular for a number of years and is always a top choice. The site always seems to be the first source to break news about the next big thing encompassing social media. Their engagement with digital innovation provides the ability to broadcast content to millions around the world.<\/p>\n What I Love: I like this website\u2019s \u201creal world\u201d approach to everything marketing and social media. They have great online and offline events, and they provide excellent training for you and for your team.<\/p>\n Do you have any favorite sites I did not include in this list?
